Senior Technical Program Manager (Embedded Software)

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead product development programs in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Revenue teams.
• Develop program strategies, policies, procedures, methodologies, standards, and tools.
• Define KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and standardized program and project reporting.
• Analyze program data and trends to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Build stakeholder relationships with executives, sponsors, program teams, and cross-functional leaders.
• Lead change management and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical project management experience in embedded device software development.
• Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience coordinating software schedules with hardware teams during hardware product development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in smart home, IoT, renewable energy, solar, or battery energy storage.
• Experience coordinating cloud services and mobile teams alongside firmware and hardware development.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills using data and metrics to support recommendations.
• BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
