AUTOSAR Embedded Software Engineer (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Develop and configure AUTOSAR modules below the RTE and implement software components on top of the RTE.
• Create software designs, requirements, unit tests, test cases, and maintain bidirectional traceability.
• Optimize software design and code for resource consumption.
• Debug software on benches and in vehicles using Lauterbach debuggers, DLT, and XCP.
• Integrate AUTOSAR embedded software, conduct reviews, and perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and OEMs while supporting knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 4 years of embedded software experience in the automotive electrical and electronics industry.
• Strong AUTOSAR expertise; Adaptive AUTOSAR knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, root cause analysis, self-management, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a dynamic, global team and adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
• Willingness to participate in customer, supplier, and OEM meetings.

Nice to have

• Python or CAPL scripting and experience with JIRA and Git.
• UDS, bootloader, OEM-specific software, NXP processors, and QNX OS experience.
• Advanced knowledge of AUTOSAR BSW, RTE, abstraction layers, architecture, specifications, and configuration tools such as Elektrobit Tresos and Vector DaVinci.
• Strong C programming, embedded systems, software build process, Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, Agile, and MISRA C knowledge.
• Experience with Vector products and Lauterbach Trace32 debugging tools.
