Embedded Camera Developer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for AI-enabled camera systems using C and C++.
• Integrate and optimize ISP pipelines, video encoding and decoding modules, and camera subsystems.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on schematics, data sheets, component integration, and low-level hardware-software co-design.
• Investigate and resolve firmware issues involving streaming latency, frame reordering, system crashes, memory bottlenecks, and stream stability.
• Build unit, integration, and system-level tests for real and simulated camera environments using Pytest and Robot Framework.
• Maintain firmware documentation, conduct code reviews, and develop secure, reusable, hardware-independent embedded software.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing image processing pipelines, video streams, multithreaded software, unit tests, and Linux user-space applications.
• Strong C/C++ skills for concurrent systems and experience with preemptive, multithreaded Embedded Linux or Android environments.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python and practical experience with performance profiling for CPU, memory, and power on embedded SoCs.
• Knowledge of schematics, data sheets, microcontrollers, I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI-CSI, and embedded hardware-software integration.
• Experience with Git, SQL, Jira, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and testing frameworks such as Pytest or Robot Framework.
