Senior Security Engineer, Product & Application Security

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; onsite at least four days per week

Base salary: $165,000–$215,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform application security reviews, threat modeling, and secure architecture design reviews.
• Lead secure SDLC and DevSecOps initiatives across engineering workflows.
• Strengthen CI/CD and software supply chain security.
• Secure web applications, mobile applications, APIs, AI/CV platforms, and cloud-native systems.
• Develop security tooling and automation, manage security testing, and drive vulnerability remediation.
• Enable developers through security education and advance product security engineering projects.

Requirements

• Strong experience in application and product security.
• Experience with DevSecOps, secure SDLC practices, and CI/CD security tooling.
• Experience securing cloud-native distributed systems and modern application architectures.
• Strong understanding of APIs, scripting, and software engineering.
• Ability to partner closely with engineering organizations and provide secure architecture guidance.
• Experience using AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML security concepts.
• Experience in SaaS, consumer technology, or high-scale environments.
