Senior Security Engineer, Product Security (AI)

What you will do

• Embed security into the software development lifecycle through threat modeling, secure design reviews, and secure-coding guidance.
• Own application security testing, including code review, SAST, DAST, triage, and remediation.
• Harden the software supply chain through dependency verification, secure dependency management, and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Build and automate security tooling and guardrails that scale with engineering.
• Advise product and engineering teams on architecture, design, and workflow decisions as an internal security subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• 5+ years of security engineering experience in product or application security.
• Strong hands-on engineering skills and the ability to build and automate security solutions.
• Strong software engineering skills with experience in code such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Depth in secure SDLC, threat modeling, code scanning, and supply-chain or dependency security.
• Fluency with the modern AI landscape and its impact on security.
• Comfort working as an early security hire in a startup environment with high ownership and ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI/ML products or agentic systems.
• Experience with developer-enablement or security-champions programs.
• Experience building an application security function from scratch.
