Senior Field Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$195,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global is building an agentic security architecture platform that integrates security into the software design phase and helps enterprises secure AI-assisted software development.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end proof-of-value engagements, mapping customer threat models, security workflows, and architecture patterns to the platform.
• Partner with Sales to create evidence-based business cases for CISOs and senior enterprise buyers.
• Own technical onboarding, including integration configuration and the first automated design review.
• Configure the Security Context Engine around each customer's security posture, approved design patterns, and risk tolerances.
• Advise strategic customers on design-stage security, AI-generated code risks, and secure architecture context for AI coding assistants.
• Translate customer challenges into platform requirements, resolve escalations, and provide insights to Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Security Engineering.
• Experience as a Security Architect or in a security-focused role within a mid-to-large enterprise.
• Hands-on expertise in product security reviews, threat modeling, and secure design principles across the PDLC.
• Experience leading proof-of-value engagements and onboarding for enterprise security or developer tooling platforms.
• Knowledge of STRIDE, PASTA, Attack Trees, LINDDUN, OWASP, NIST CSF/SSDF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Familiarity with Jira, Linear, GitHub or GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted software development security implications.

Nice to have

• CISSP, ISSAP, CSSLP, or an equivalent certification.
• Experience at a cybersecurity vendor or in field engineering at a security-focused startup.
• Background in ASPM, SAST/DAST tooling, security orchestration, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with MCP, SOC 2 Type II, FedRAMP, or similar compliance frameworks.
