Functional Product Analyst

What you will do

• Capture customer and stakeholder capability needs and create business requirements, personas, journey maps, product roadmaps, KPIs, and delivery plans.
• Support the full product management lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritization, testing, prototyping, and customer or user acceptance criteria.
• Define business user testing plans, scenarios, traceability documentation, and defect management processes.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, designers, IT delivery partners, and management through requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews, and delivery reporting.
• Ensure required standards, compliance controls, and approvals are addressed throughout delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or six years of related progressive experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of experience in business analysis and/or analyst roles.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, report writing, critical thinking, and elicitation/documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile methodology, Agile project management, and product management.
• Position is based in Pennsylvania while working from home.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement.
• Experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
• Certifications or training in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, IIBA business analysis, Human-Centered Design, or Design Thinking.
