Data Scientist (AI/LLM)

Location: On-site in the New York City or San Francisco office, United States

Base salary: $140,000–$260,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and refine predictive models for analyzing and forecasting AI-driven search behavior.
• Design sampling and data classification techniques to improve AI-driven brand insights.
• Use LLMs and NLP to extract insights from unstructured text data.
• Query, clean, classify, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to measure impact.
• Collaborate with the founding team to translate complex data insights into business strategies.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of advanced analytics experience in technology, marketing, or advertising.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with experience analyzing large datasets.
• Expertise in stratified sampling, bootstrapping, and extrapolation.
• Strong background in predictive modeling and machine learning techniques for estimating event frequency.
• Deep understanding of large language models, their limitations, and real-world applications.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment.

• Knowledge of current AI research, including multimodal AI and LLM advancements.
