Application Analyst (POS)

Location: Remote, with a corporate general-office location listed in Calabasas, California, United States. Periodic after-hours and weekend support is required.

Salary: $69,500–$104,200 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, test, deploy, and support assigned software applications and modules.
• Support server environment administration and application development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate application releases with Application Leads and cross-application schedules.
• Support QA release test plans, dry runs, go-live execution, and code integrity checks.
• Identify and resolve release-level issues, mitigate risks, and improve Release Governance processes.
• Provide production support, including periodic after-hours and weekend coverage.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of IT experience and proven experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution methodologies.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage tasks in a high-pressure setting.
• Knowledge of technology trends and willingness to learn rapidly changing technologies.
• Availability to provide weekend support as required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Retail, help desk, or retail-store support experience.
• Experience with POS software, Aptos POS, Java web applications, or POS hardware.
• Experience supporting all phases of the software development life cycle.
