What you will do
- Build and lead the Forward Deployed Engineering team, hiring and onboarding seven additional engineers and continuing to scale the function.
- Establish onboarding standards covering product knowledge, demos, pilot execution, and customer engagement.
- Codify the operating model for moving enterprise customers from initial interest to thousand-plus-seat production deployments.
- Define the technical playbook for integrating, configuring, and scaling in large enterprise environments.
- Partner with Go-to-Market, Product, Engineering, and executive leadership on team design, compensation, territories, and customer health.
- Build a repeatable regional leadership and execution layer for future multi-region operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including senior individual contributor and leadership roles in technical, customer-facing organizations.
- Computer Science or closely related technical degree.
- Hands-on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a comparable technical customer-facing role.
- Experience building a function or team at an early-stage startup and operating at a top-tier technology company.
- Proven ability to hire, manage, and develop high-performing technical individual contributors.
- Ability to execute independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Nice to have
- Experience at a company that completed an IPO or strategic acquisition.
- Revenue operations or sales operations background.
- Prior software engineering experience.
- Experience managing managers or demonstrated progression toward that scope.
