Professional Services Implementation Engineer

Location: Onsite in New York, with project work throughout Long Island and occasional work in New York City

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and deliver client-facing implementation projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, infrastructure upgrades, network deployments, office relocations, and client onboarding.
• Configure and deploy Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, device compliance policies, endpoint management, and identity solutions.
• Install, configure, test, and validate switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and related network infrastructure.
• Coordinate technical work during office moves, including network connectivity, workstation readiness, and business continuity.
• Manage project discovery, planning, cutovers, post-deployment validation, documentation, status updates, and scope-control activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical account managers, clients, vendors, and internal teams; mentor junior engineers and support escalations and on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience delivering technical implementation projects independently.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, endpoint management, and identity solutions.
• Experience installing and configuring network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ability to perform onsite work at client locations throughout Long Island and occasionally in New York City.
• Strong project execution, scope management, documentation, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to maintain project records, technical documentation, network diagrams, and time entries in IT Glue and HaloPSA.
