Trademark Paralegal

Location: Seattle, with fully remote or hybrid work schedules available; other listed U.S. locations include Austin, Boston, Boulder, Century City, Delaware, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Washington, D.C., New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco.

Salary: $43.21–$58.46 per hour in Seattle and other listed locations; $45.48–$61.54 per hour in New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. Overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Coordinate trademark clearance, prosecution, renewals, maintenance, deadlines, and client communications.
• Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches using USPTO, commercial databases, AI tools, and foreign trademark office resources.
• Prepare and file USPTO applications, registrations, renewals, assignments, statements of use, extensions, and powers of attorney.
• Manage communications with clients, attorneys, vendors, and foreign counsel regarding searches, filings, notices, and global registration strategies.
• Assist with TTAB actions, UDRP complaints, trademark enforcement proceedings, copyright applications, and Customs and Border Protection recordations.
• Maintain docket items, records, watch notices, subscriptions, and file transfers in WebTMS.

Requirements

• College degree and/or paralegal certificate.
• At least 4 years of trademark paralegal experience.
• Proficiency in WebTMS and USPTO filing procedures.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution rules and procedures.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed and collaborate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff across offices.
