TL;DR
Quality Engineer (Solar Manufacturing): Ensuring consistent product quality across solar tracker production through quality management systems, audits, supplier assurance, and customer compliance with an accent on ISO standards, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and continuous improvement. Focus on leading root-cause analysis, resolving customer and supplier quality concerns, managing audits and KPIs, and coordinating quality activities across production teams.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the role will be based in Saudi Arabia.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain quality-process links with customers and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
- Manage internal, process, customer, and supplier audits, including supplier development and improvement activities.
- Respond to customer complaints through containment, root-cause analysis, error-proofing, and corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement, Lean problem-solving, inspection meetings, and quality documentation updates.
- Manage Quality Engineers and Technicians in part sign-off and resolution of internal and external quality concerns.
- Develop KPIs, monitor quality targets, conduct risk assessments, and report required actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, legal standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with quality systems and methods including TS16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, and SQA.
- Knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or NetSuite knowledge is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with fabrication, product assembly, plating, laboratory operations, and inspection.
- Testing knowledge based on IEC, SASO, and other international standards.
- Experience with customer communications, vendor development, risk management, MIS, RoHS compliance, and KPI management.
- Quality control certification.
- Arabic language skills.
