Quality Engineer (ISO/AS9100)

Location: Must be based in the DFW area (Coppell, TX) and reside in the US

What you will do

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to continuously improve the quality system.
• Ensure QMS and Change Management documentation complies with ISO/AS standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal audits of critical operational and QMS processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and identify/implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and report on quality performance metrics relevant to business success.
• Evaluate potential suppliers and manage supplier performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related position.
• Proven experience in process-based auditing, root cause analysis, and problem-solving (PDCA, DMAIC, 5 Whys, RCCA).
• Technical knowledge of statistics, quality control tools, and inspection methods.
• Experience with AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
• Must reside in the US and have valid US work authorization.

Nice to have

• AS9100 Lead or Internal Auditor certification.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, and/or CQA).
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of VoIP technology.
• Experience with SAP, SharePoint, and Jira.
