Technical Lead (Healthcare and Life Sciences)

Salary

Salary: $260,000 - $270,000 per year OTE plus equity

What you will do

• Own technical relationships for healthcare and life sciences accounts from discovery through proof-of-concept and architecture sign-off
• Partner with sales and customers to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for regulated clinical, research, and pharmaceutical workloads
• Design storage architectures addressing data sovereignty, audit trails, disaster recovery, high availability, and secure multi-site collaboration
• Engage with healthcare IT directors, research informatics teams, compliance officers, and clinical application owners
• Develop and maintain healthcare technical toolkits including reference architectures and compliance documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles with 4+ years focused on healthcare, life sciences, or pharma
• Strong knowledge of unstructured data storage and regulated environment compliance (HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP)
• Experience with healthcare data workflows including medical imaging, EMR, genomics, clinical research data
• Proven track record leading complex pre-sales engagements in regulated environments
• Ability to engage diverse audiences including clinical, research, IT, compliance, and executives

Nice to have

• Experience with HL7, FHIR, medical imaging informatics, genomics file formats, or research data management platforms
• Background supporting health systems, pharma R&D, biotech research, or CROs
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid architectures for regulated data and AI/ML in medical imaging or drug discovery
• Knowledge of CTMS, EDC, LIMS, or drug discovery computational platforms
