Distributed Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA

Salary: $150,000 – $350,000 + Equity

hirify.global is building a multi-silicon neocloud platform designed to intelligently partition and route AI workloads across heterogeneous hardware.

What you will do

• Design and operate distributed systems that schedule, route, and coordinate AI workloads across thousands of nodes.
• Build orchestration systems to manage heterogeneous hardware architectures.
• Improve reliability and fault tolerance for production AI infrastructure.
• Create APIs and control planes to simplify deployment for mission-critical workloads.
• Influence the architecture of a platform powering next-generation AI systems.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building or operating distributed systems in production environments.
• Comfort reasoning about concurrency, failure modes, and tradeoffs in large-scale systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Kubernetes-adjacent systems.
• Experience designing service-oriented architectures using RPC or asynchronous messaging.
• Familiarity with scheduling, queues, or resource management systems.
• Experience building reliable APIs under high load.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, or Python.
