Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Meridian, Idaho, United States; onsite role in a technical product production and industrial manufacturing facility.

Salary: $70,000–$110,000 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Optimize composite decking production processes and identify emerging technologies for future implementation.
• Develop mechanical designs and define project requirements using 2D and solid-modeling CAD tools.
• Evaluate, test, and modify equipment to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support evaluation, testing, validation, and launch of new materials, processes, and products.
• Analyze operational data, interpret technical trends, and report project status to stakeholders.
• Train, develop, and mentor colleagues within the area of technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency with 2D and solid-modeling CAD tools.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, FMEA, and RCM.
• Experience managing engineering projects from scope through execution.
• Experience in a technical product production or industrial manufacturing facility.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ignition and Allen Bradley PLCs.
