Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Edison, New Jersey, United States, at 50 Clearview Road and 111 Fieldcrest Avenue.

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design manufacturing equipment, production processes, drawings, manuals, and setup documentation.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, productivity, automation, and process standardization.
• Maintain BOMs, engineering change orders, project files, technical records, and equipment documentation.
• Plan and manage multiple engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, milestones, and technical deliverables.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing and support IQ/OQ equipment qualification activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Operations, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment design and operation.
• Experience with equipment design, testing, IQ/OQ/FAT, process improvement, and external equipment suppliers.
• Strong project management, analytical, planning, organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, sitting, computer work, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, OTC, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements.
• Experience supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Bilingual skills.
