VP Corporate Strategy (Quantum Computing)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end STRAP process and develop multi-year corporate strategy across hardware, software, services, commercial, sales, and marketing functions.
• Translate strategy into measurable initiatives, KPIs/OKRs, governance cadences, and business plans.
• Develop vertical, platform, value chain, and operating model strategies, including use-case prioritisation, partnership decisions, and monetisation direction.
• Own enterprise portfolio governance and resource allocation across technical, commercial, and business functions.
• Provide continuous customer, competitor, market, and strategic intelligence to support enterprise decision-making.
• Prepare strategic narratives, decision materials, and recommendations for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise strategy leadership in a complex, R&D-led deep-tech environment such as quantum computing, AI, semiconductors, or advanced computing.
• Experience shaping long-term corporate direction and influencing executive and Board-level decisions.
• Ability to align senior leaders across hardware, software, commercial, and business functions without direct authority.
• Strong commercial and operating model expertise, including translating emerging technologies into scalable business models and execution plans.
• Experience with strategic planning, scenario analysis, portfolio prioritisation, and operating in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to quantum computing, high-performance computing, or adjacent frontier technologies.
• Strategy experience in high-growth technology companies or top-tier consulting environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical, market, and operational inputs to C-suite and Board audiences.
