TL;DR
Director of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis): Building and leading a scalable FP&A function covering long-range planning, revenue and P&L forecasting, cash flow modeling, and strategic financial analysis with an accent on M&A evaluation, data integrity, and financial systems. Focus on designing advanced scenario models, improving forecasting infrastructure, leveraging AI and automation, and translating complex financial data into executive and investor insights.
Location: New York City, United States; hybrid workplace with quarterly travel required

What you will do
- Build and lead the FP&A function, including long-range financial planning, multi-year modeling, cash flow forecasting, and enterprise scenario planning.
- Own revenue and full P&L forecasting and translate trends, variances, risks, and opportunities into actionable recommendations.
- Build financial models for strategic initiatives, M&A evaluation, financial due diligence, valuation support, integration planning, and capital allocation.
- Develop scalable FP&A processes, systems, workflows, KPI reporting, and financial reporting infrastructure.
- Improve data integrity and support financial systems implementations and process transformation initiatives.
- Advise the CEO, investors, executive leadership, and cross-functional leaders; prepare materials for board and investor discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field, including leadership experience.
- Expertise in long-range planning, cash flow modeling, advanced scenario analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Proven experience supporting M&A, including due diligence and financial modeling.
- Experience building or scaling FP&A functions, processes, or systems in a high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, critical-thinking, and executive stakeholder-management skills.

- MBA or CPA.
- Public company experience.
- Curiosity and openness to using AI and emerging technologies in finance.
