Senior Data Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States only. Candidates located outside the domestic U.S. cannot be hired.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end data systems and pipelines supporting money movement, automated fraud response, client reporting, and other critical processes.
• Design and implement reliable data integrations across backend business systems.
• Build streaming data ingestion and transformation with Apache Beam and related frameworks.
• Develop APIs for data access and sharing across internal teams and platforms.
• Manage workflow orchestration and automation with Airflow on Kubernetes.
• Define data correctness and implement monitoring, alerting, integration tests, and reusable engineering components.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Airflow experience.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and GCP.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or related industries.
• Experience managing Airflow on Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming, Apache Beam, or Dataflow.
• Experience with automated ETL tools such as Fivetran or HighTouch.
