Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Tysons Corner, Virginia, or South Jordan, Utah, United States; travel required 30–70% based on mission requirements.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and deploy mission-aligned software solutions for government and commercial environments.
• Partner with operators, analysts, executives, and customers to translate evolving requirements into technical outcomes.
• Integrate the platform with diverse data sources, internal workflows, and external IT systems.
• Build custom applications, features, and data pipelines for unstructured, multilingual datasets.
• Lead technical delivery in the field, owning projects from inception through implementation.
• Prototype and iterate rapidly while providing field insights for product roadmap development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on full-stack or systems-level development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, prototyping, and deployment skills in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–70% of the time based on mission requirements.
• Active Level 3 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is strongly preferred.
