Staff Engineer, Product Development Engineering (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Own product performance technically in high-volume manufacturing.
• Design and optimize test strategies, test plans, test time, yield, coverage, and quality to support factory financial targets.
• Lead cross-functional engineering solutions, including test-time reduction, new test platforms, test infrastructure improvements, and CAPEX reduction.
• Lead electrical failure analysis and investigate production, reliability, RMA, and DPPM issues.
• Co-lead new product introduction projects and transfer test technology from low-volume manufacturing to mass production.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, work instructions, and equipment guidelines while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in semiconductor product or test engineering.
• Hands-on experience with memory or semiconductor test engineering in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with FMEA, DMAIC, Fishbone analysis, SPC, SBL, and SYL.
• Knowledge of network IP integration, communication protocols, tester connectivity, and ATE platform operation, setup, correlation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, debugging, technical communication, cross-functional collaboration, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of non-volatile memory testing, failure mechanisms, and electrical failure analysis techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Linux experience for test automation, scripting, and system integration.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, C++, and Java.
• Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing test programs for yield, performance, and cost improvements.
