Vice President, Operations (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead operations for a medium-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment and report proactively to senior executive management.
• Establish organizational structures and processes for systematic, efficient production and enterprise risk management.
• Drive zero-defect quality, yield and throughput improvements, and reductions in scrap, defects, and yield excursions.
• Collaborate with research and development, engineering, demand planning, supply chain, customers, and other operations sites to improve manufacturability, speed, cost, output, and delivery.
• Standardize best practices for safety, quality, output, and cost while maintaining an environmentally compliant workplace.
• Build and retain a high-functioning operations team and create a highly engaged workplace.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience leading operations or engineering and at least 15 years in a high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Successful experience in medium-volume, high-mix production.
• Strong technical expertise in yield improvement and collaboration with assembly and reliability functions.
• Proven operational management, planning, forecasting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent influencing, communication, organizational, and people-management abilities, including global and cross-cultural experience.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
