Salary: $98,600–$131,400 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship web, desktop, and CLI software tools for enterprise engineering environments.
• Build AI features, automation workflows, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations for production engineering applications.
• Develop real-time HDD product telemetry monitoring and automation platforms.
• Create reusable AI/ML patterns for the DRI Tools portfolio.
• Own features end to end, from requirements and implementation through deployment.
• Collaborate with HDD R&D and product engineering stakeholders to reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and full-stack development across UI, APIs, databases, and AI/ML components.
• Experience with REST API design and development, SQL/MySQL, and data pipelines.
• Understanding of LLMs, embeddings, or RAG architectures.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket and CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and harnesses.
• Exposure to engineering or manufacturing software environments.
• Agile/Scrum development experience.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring or failure analysis tooling.
