Forward Deployed Software Engineer (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace. The role includes travel to client sites as needed, with 25–50% travel preferred depending on the team and location.

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand complex operational and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture and design decisions.
• Process massive-scale data and apply AI to improve critical operations.
• Develop custom applications tailored to customer needs.
• Engage with customer stakeholders ranging from technical teams to executives.
• Own projects end to end, from ideation and strategy through implementation and deployment.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Analytical approach to solving technical problems involving data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and related tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar language.
• Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve business problems.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work independently, learn continuously, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
