Forward Deployed Software Engineer (AI)

Location: London, England; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office and travel to customer sites

hirify.global develops Fin, an AI Customer Agent and integrated help desk that helps businesses automate customer support across service, sales, and ecommerce.

What you will do

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping prospects automate and scale their support operations.
• Work closely with strategic customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Code alongside customer technical teams and deliver projects through to completion.
• Partner with Sales, Success, Product, and R&D teams to improve customer outcomes and inform product decisions.
• Document best practices and share customer insights to help scale the Forward Deployed Software Engineering function.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background and experience building a SaaS product with real-world usage.
• Interest in AI/ML and the ability to understand new problems, architectures, trade-offs, and limitations.
• Deep knowledge of at least one high-level programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Ability to prototype and ship quality software quickly with a focus on business outcomes.
• Proficiency in using and writing REST APIs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, plus willingness to work on-site with customers and travel.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder or early startup engineer.
