What you will do

• Design and analyze vehicle structures, mechanisms, and actuated systems for dynamics, kinematics, and structural integrity.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain CAD models for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Conduct multibody dynamics simulations under real-world operating conditions.
• Perform finite element analysis for structural, fatigue, and modal performance.
• Investigate mechanical failures and improve system reliability.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation with a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on structures, dynamics, simulation, and machine design.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or equivalent.
• Experience with multibody dynamics simulation tools such as Simpack, Adams, or equivalent.
• Expertise in finite element analysis and computational simulation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical vibrations, fatigue analysis, and structural mechanics.
• Experience with transportation, automotive, or railway mechanical systems and engineering safety standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with railway vehicle dynamics, bogie design, or track interaction.
• Knowledge of EN, UIC, APTA, FRA, or similar railway standards.
• Experience with prototyping, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting tools for simulation automation.
