Head, Group FP&A (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and own the Group FP&A framework, including forecasting architecture, budgeting processes, and management-reporting standards.
• Consolidate multi-entity, multi-currency forecasts into Group-level profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting with intercompany eliminations.
• Run annual budget, monthly forecast, and monthly and quarterly Group reporting cycles, including Board packs and investor-grade reporting.
• Build and maintain Group KPIs and unit-economics standards across subsidiaries and business units.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modelling for market entry, expansion, capital raises, and licence applications.
• Manage and develop Group FP&A analysts and coordinate with BU CFOs, finance leads, and the Group Financial Controller.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including building forecasting frameworks from scratch.
• Experience consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency forecasts and management accounts.
• Background in banking, fintech, or another regulated, fast-growth environment.
• Advanced financial modelling skills, including architect-level Excel expertise and ownership of multi-entity, multi-currency models.
• ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to operate effectively as a remote senior finance leader across time zones and geographies.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth African or emerging-markets fintech or bank.
• Board and investor reporting experience at Group level.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Aleph, Pigment, or similar planning and consolidation tools.
• Experience establishing FP&A functions or frameworks during a scale-up phase.
