Engineering Solutions Systems Administrator (TeamCenter)

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, California, or Atlanta, Georgia. U.S. export-control eligibility is required: U.S. person status or eligibility for deemed export licensing.

What you will do

• Administer, configure, maintain, and scale Siemens Teamcenter, Active Workspace, Dispatcher, and NX managed-mode environments.
• Manage users, permissions, workflows, BOMs, engineering data, release processes, change control, and configuration governance.
• Troubleshoot platform and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement scalable solutions.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Digital Operations to improve usability and operational efficiency.
• Support upgrades, deployments, validation, training, documentation, and integrations with ERP, MES, and enterprise systems.
• Automate processes, improve engineering data consistency, and strengthen the digital thread.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter administration, workflows, engineering data structures, release processes, and configuration management.
• Experience troubleshooting workflows, datasets, BOMs, ownership, access, integrations, and engineering data-management issues.
• Familiarity with Siemens NX managed-mode environments and CAD/PLM integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Teamcenter integrations for ERP, MES, reporting, or enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter Dispatcher, ITK, APIs, BMIDE, Active Workspace, customization frameworks, or release automation.
• Aerospace, defense, complex hardware manufacturing, digital transformation, or engineering-systems modernization experience.
• Familiarity with SQL, PMI, MBD, CAD automation, model-based engineering, or digital thread initiatives.
