Senior Payments Testing Consultant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Execute debit certification test plans using simulated transactions in a User Acceptance Test environment.
• Maintain and enhance manual and automated test scripts, tools, and test data.
• Analyze system functionality, performance, usability, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects, risks, and test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate configurations and system readiness.
• Manage testing activities, improve test processes and reporting, and contribute to risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation.
• Hands-on experience creating, executing, and maintaining test scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and collaborate in a structured testing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking systems, payment processing, or fintech platforms.
• Familiarity with debit networks and transaction-processing workflows.
• Experience with automated testing tools or test-management platforms.
• Skills in risk analysis, defect management, and quality improvement.
