Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer, New Grad - US Government (DevOps)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, excluding potential bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Operate and support hirify.global software through monitoring, alerting, configuration management, upgrades, and production troubleshooting.
• Deploy hirify.global products at customer sites and migrate deployments to new infrastructure types.
• Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
• Automate manual workflows, processes, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in an on-call support schedule and resolve production issues with minimal operational impact.
• Develop infrastructure solutions in the Foundry and Apollo platforms.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems using observability tools and service logs.
• Knowledge of production systems such as load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, or configuration management.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and collaborate across functions.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
