Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, United States — hybrid, with on-site work required 3 days per week

Salary: $160,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

hirify.global is building a generative AI healthcare SaaS platform with AI governance guardrails, healthcare-specific agent creation, and real-time algorithm monitoring.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core platform services and integrate them with the overall architecture.
• Build clean, efficient, and maintainable production code.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Support project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Support and troubleshoot production environments.

Requirements

• Production experience with a generative AI application or platform at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript or Java, plus experience with a modern compiled language such as Go or Rust.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, and agile development.
• Bachelor’s degree and ability to work on-site in Palo Alto 3 days per week required.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with all three major cloud providers, especially GCP.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Previous healthcare industry experience and a master’s degree.
