IT DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Alameda, California, United States; on-site work required

Annual base salary: $125,000–$185,000

What you will do

• Set up and support CI/CD pipelines, release processes, version control, and environment management.
• Design, automate, and maintain cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Support containerization, cloud deployments, application integrations, and infrastructure automation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and production performance and reliability practices.
• Deploy AI-based applications, LLM Ops solutions, and automation workflows into production environments.
• Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, secrets, certificates, and access controls while documenting and transitioning solutions to operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go, with scripting experience in PowerShell or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, GitHub, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of APIs, MCP, system integration, DevOps practices, AI/ML concepts, and enterprise AI tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, work with ambiguity, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Alameda, California.
