Claims Handler (Insurance)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to London for hybrid office attendance once every two weeks

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) and Credit Hire claims.
• Investigate claims, assess liability and indemnity, and identify recovery opportunities.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders, witnesses, and third-party insurers.
• Set and maintain claim reserves and process payments within authority levels.
• Identify intervention opportunities and escalate potential fraud or complex complaints.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing Credit Hire and TPPD claims.
• Solid grasp of relevant case law and liability/indemnity decision-making.
• Experience setting reserves and processing payments independently.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload at pace while prioritizing effectively.
• Must be able to attend the London office on a hybrid basis once every two weeks.
