Configuration / Requirements Manager (Automotive)

Location: Santa Clara, California, USA; working locations also include the UK and Germany

What you will do

• Support international project teams in defining, documenting, changing, and baselining configuration items.
• Maintain and improve configuration and requirements management processes, working methods, and tools.
• Track projects, actions, tasks, and issues in JIRA.
• Update and audit the requirements management database in JAMA.
• Trace configuration changes and related documentation.
• Act as the configuration management authority and coordinate implementation of the defined process.

Requirements

• Experience delivering a complete vehicle or vehicle integration project.
• Automotive industry knowledge and technical terminology.
• Professional English is required.
• Proficiency with JAMA and JIRA, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to integrate disparate information.
• An engineering degree is preferred but not essential.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Chinese language skills.
