Senior Product Quality Engineer (Industrials)

Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts office with occasional travel to the Devens, Massachusetts facility

Annual base salary: $96,000–$132,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage product lifecycle quality for designated product lines from initial validation through steady-state production.
• Execute IQ/OQ/PQ process validations and verification activities for new product introductions and line expansions.
• Investigate product non-conformances, lead material review boards, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Deploy and monitor statistical process control frameworks against critical-to-quality metrics.
• Author, review, and approve quality system documentation, including DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs, to maintain audit readiness.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Process, and Machine Engineering teams on proactive quality controls and design-for-manufacturability initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in a highly regulated advanced manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field preferred.
• Expertise in First Article Inspection Reports, process capability studies, and formal risk management tools such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
• Hands-on experience with AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality management systems.
• Familiarity with metal alloys, metallurgy, precision machining, or metal additive manufacturing.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification such as CQE or CRE.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
