Collections Agent

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; office-based in Roma Norte 4 days per week

Salary: MX$18,000–MX$25,000 per month

What you will do

• Call customers with early-stage delinquency accounts 15–30 days past due.
• Use a flexible script and adapt conversations to customer situations and objections.
• Negotiate payment agreements to bring accounts back on track.
• Log calls, offers, agreements, and rejection reasons in the collections system.
• Report weekly metrics including calls, contacts, agreements, and peso recoveries.
• Participate in retrospectives and share negotiation insights with the Operations team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of phone collections experience in Mexico, in a contact center or collections team.
• Comfort speaking from a script and adapting when customers push back.
• Operator mindset with the ability to solve problems independently.
• Availability to work full time Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00, with rotating hours when needed.
• Availability to work from the CDMX office 4 days per week.
• Immediate availability is preferred, ideally within the next 15 days.
