PeopleSoft HCM Architect (Oracle Cloud)

Location: On-site in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, United States. Must be a US citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance.

Salary: $115,100–$213,700 annually

What you will do

• Lead architecture for PeopleSoft HCM solutions covering core HR, benefits, payroll, workforce administration, time and labor, absence, talent, recruiting, learning, and compensation.
• Define enterprise HCM architecture standards, governance, application design, integrations, security, and data management practices.
• Assess PeopleSoft environments, technical debt, customizations, and integration complexity; develop modernization roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design cloud migration strategies for PeopleSoft workloads, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and scalability.
• Develop API-first integration and data modernization strategies connecting HCM with ERP, identity, payroll, benefits, finance, reporting, and analytics systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate architecture reviews and workshops, advise HR and business leaders, and mentor technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience, including at least 5 years in architecture leadership.
• 5+ years of enterprise modernization or cloud transformation experience and experience leading large-scale HCM transformation initiatives.
• PeopleTools, Application Designer, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, security administration, upgrades, and PUM implementation experience.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, cloud security, disaster recovery, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP services, API management, middleware, Oracle Database, SQL, and data migration.
• US citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required; the role is on-site in Arlington, Virginia.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud HCM implementation experience and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud HCM, or TOGAF certification.
• Experience with modernization business cases, ROI analysis, AI-enabled HR technologies, workforce analytics, or federal and large-enterprise programs.
• Agile and DevSecOps delivery experience.
