Sr. Specialist, IT Business Partner (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid role based in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Novi, Michigan, with four days per week in the office; regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional business travel are required.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide program management oversight for the support, stability, maintenance, and upgrades of IT systems and platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to translate objectives and challenges into IT solutions that improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate technology options, recommend solutions, and align system selections with business needs and industry best practices.
• Lead end-to-end IT application implementations in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, deliverables, budgets, and service-level agreement compliance.
• Develop software strategies and product roadmaps while identifying opportunities for innovation, scalability, and business continuity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise IT applications; automotive industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing IT applications teams.
• Strong technical expertise in enterprise IT applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with enterprise IT business systems supporting automotive engineering, manufacturing, and sales functions.
• Ability to work in the office four days per week in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Novi, Michigan, and travel for company events.
