Technician (Contract Renewable)

Location: Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia; onsite role with an 11-hour rotating shift

What you will do

• Operate machinery and assembly equipment for direct assembly and support factory equipment and related processes.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using schematics, repair manuals, and specifications.
• Collect, assess, and interpret manufacturing and equipment data to support online adjustments and process optimization.
• Maintain manufacturing process documentation and update relevant manufacturing systems.
• Provide hands-on support for technical quality issues involving customer complaints, manufacturing, engineering, test methods, and equipment.
• Support new process implementation, operational plans, technical information sharing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Higher Secondary education, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing systems and equipment maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics and perform basic technical problem resolution.
• Knowledge of data analysis, automation, process improvement, technical support, and equipment-related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work under direct instruction and close supervision while following company, legal, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.
