Semiconductor Equipment Engineer (Quantum)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end equipment installations with OEMs, including planning, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ, qualification, and production ramp-up.
• Define, perform, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules, spare-parts planning, and documentation to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root-cause analyses, implement permanent corrective actions, and report findings.
• Support commissioning of the cleanroom and semiconductor nanofabrication line.
• Align equipment capabilities, process requirements, and factory operations with Process Engineering.
• Own operational interfaces for gas, vacuum, cryogenic, electrical, cooling-water, chemical, and exhaust systems.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced equipment, ideally in commercial cleanrooms.
• Experience with high-vacuum tools, preferably semiconductor nanofabrication equipment.
• Relevant technical degree or equivalent background in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Systematic problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Self-driven, team-oriented, and comfortable operating with minimal oversight and high ownership.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cryogenic systems or dilution refrigerators.
