Finance Director, APAC (eCommerce)

What you will do

• Own the full FP&A cycle across Asia and Australia, including annual planning, monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with the Managing Directors of Asia and Australia and their leadership teams on key business decisions.
• Build and maintain long-range financial models for regional expansion, investment prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Develop rolling forecasts integrating financial and operational KPIs at regional and brand levels.
• Design performance reporting and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-geography financial projects supporting major regional decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of progressive Finance experience in complex, matrixed, or multinational businesses.
• Strong FP&A expertise across budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, supported by solid accounting fundamentals.
• Experience converting large, complex datasets into scalable reporting and decision-support tools.
• Proficiency with cloud-based Finance platforms such as NetSuite or Workday Adaptive, plus advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English is required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or MBA.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or a large global organization.
• Experience integrating AI into daily workflows and project delivery.
