Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site five days a week in the Flatiron District, Manhattan, NYC, NY

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits

hirify.global is a seed-stage AI-native startup building enterprise IT Service and Configuration Management software using AI, graph-based architecture, and modern design.

What you will do

• Own complex features and systems end to end, from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Design backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, databases, and core infrastructure for scalable enterprise workflows.
• Integrate LLMs, reasoning capabilities, and intelligent workflows into backend pipelines and product experiences.
• Build full-stack features connecting frontend interfaces with backend systems and databases.
• Improve architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, developer tooling, performance, security, and compliance for enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with backend systems, API design, distributed systems, and production SaaS.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular and integration of UI components with backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and ideally graph databases.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in the Manhattan office.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI or LLM features or working with enterprise workflow systems.
• Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with high-throughput or low-latency systems.
• Open-source contributions or a strong portfolio of technical work.
