What you will do
- Write and review production code primarily in Python, with some TypeScript.
- Define software architecture, make technical trade-offs, and drive projects from proposal through production.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Improve testing, type checking, static analysis, documentation, CI/CD, build tooling, and local development environments.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and compiler teams to deliver reliable, low-latency, scalable features.
- Apply AI and LLM tooling to developer workflows and improve observability, engineering efficiency, onboarding, and delivery reliability.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience developing production systems with Python.
- Strong system design and scalable architecture experience.
- Experience leading technical projects and guiding teams through design, implementation, and rollout.
- Proven mentoring skills and clear communication in code and design reviews.
- Experience with testing, pre-commit hooks, documentation, CI/CD, Git, GitHub Actions, and agile practices.
- Hands-on experience applying AI or LLMs to developer workflows and integrating them safely into systems; B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Cloud and DevOps experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and secure software supply chains.
- Experience with developer tooling, build systems, test frameworks, artifact management, internal libraries, or cluster orchestration.
- Familiarity with quantum frameworks such as , Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Familiarity with domain-specific languages, open-source contributions, or developer communities.
