Technical Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid schedule required from the Cambridge, MA office

Base compensation: $75,000–$90,000 per year for US locations

What you will do

• Participate in a rotational analytics program across Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Engineering.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify business improvement opportunities.
• Operate and improve data products while optimizing multiple competing KPIs.
• Build data pipelines, data models, reports, and dashboards for new business initiatives and decision-making.
• Analyze customer segments and improve insurance products.
• Improve prediction accuracy for customer acquisition machine learning bidding algorithms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, economics, or another STEM field required.
• Strong quantitative, programming, and analytical skills with a product-oriented mindset.
• Real-world expertise in SQL.
• Python preferred; R is also accepted.
• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate, adapt between projects, and work effectively in a startup environment.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the Cambridge, MA office.

Nice to have

• Website tracking, HTML, JavaScript, pixel tracking, and event tracking.
• Production data systems, big data, Apache Spark, dbt, and SQL.
• Statistics and domain experience in marketing, SEO, retention, product, consumer, retail, e-commerce, or SaaS analytics.
