Senior Contracts Manager (AI Legal Technology)

Location: Office-based in Windsor or Edinburgh, UK, or Dublin, Ireland; periodic attendance at the Windsor office is required for locations other than Windsor, with occasional domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead legal input into NHS and public-sector tenders and bid responses.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts in line with commercial objectives and risk appetite.
• Own a portfolio of complex, high-value contracts throughout the full lifecycle and remain accountable for commercial outcomes.
• Manage post-signature obligations, performance monitoring, change control, variations, and supplier relationships.
• Identify, assess, escalate, and resolve legal and commercial risks while implementing contract governance processes.
• Mentor contract managers, set standards, and coordinate with Legal, Sales, Delivery, Leadership, and international colleagues.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of hands-on experience managing high-value contracts, ideally in healthcare, IT, or the public sector.
• Experience independently managing complex, strategically significant contracts and leading negotiations through completion.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, communication, organizational, and risk-management skills.
• Experience with UKI model form contracts, government and NHS procurement laws, and public-sector contracting norms.
• Comfort working with digital workflow tools, document automation, contract lifecycle management platforms, and AI-enabled legal technologies.
• Legal or commercial degree or postgraduate qualification preferred; relevant professional qualifications welcomed.

Nice to have

• Directly accountable portfolio total contract value exceeding £100M.
• Experience with legal operations processes and AI-related regulatory environments such as the EU AI Act.
