Specialist V, Teamcenter Librarian (Teamcenter)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States; 5 days in office. Standard hours are 8:00am–5:00pm ET, Monday–Friday, with up to 40% travel.

Salary: $77–$89 per hour.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain NX CAD reuse libraries for fasteners, fittings, and common components.
• Create standardized material definitions for nuclear-grade materials.
• Manage COTS part libraries, including vendor models, specifications, procurement data, and preferred vendor alignment.
• Develop and enforce naming conventions, classification standards, and configuration management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to identify reusable components and maintain accurate part data.
• Reduce design time, inconsistent material properties, duplicate inventory, procurement costs, and part number proliferation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in library science, information management, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM.
• Typically 15 years of relevant experience in an MCAD librarian or engineering data management role involving Teamcenter.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
• Availability for standard Eastern Time office hours and up to 40% travel.
