Staff AMS CAD Engineer (Analog/Mixed-Signal)

What you will do

• Download, configure, and maintain PDKs, third-party IP, in-house IP, simulation models, and analog/mixed-signal design environments.
• Administer EDA tool installations, upgrades, licenses, project workareas, directory structures, access controls, and environment configuration.
• Set up and maintain Slurm compute scheduling and physical verification flows, including FILL, DRC, LVS, PERC, and antenna checks.
• Configure parasitic RC extraction, Voltus-Fi EMIR analysis, and EMX electromagnetic simulation flows.
• Define and maintain analog macro release procedures covering GDS, LEF, LIB/DB, CDL, and behavioral models for digital handoff.
• Coordinate with Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens/Mentor vendors and troubleshoot AMS tools, flows, and environment issues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting AMS CAD or design environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso Layout/Schematic, ADE Assembler, Pegasus, Quantus, Calibre, and related EDA tools.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Cadence SKILL, Cadence PCELLS, and Bash or Tcsh.
• Ability to develop automation and flows, manage design infrastructure, and debug complex CAD environment issues.
