Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

Location: Fully remote across Canada

Salary: CAD $174,487–$205,332 base pay, plus equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery across multiple environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Improve system reliability, observability, incident response, and deployment practices with Software Engineering, Security, SRE, and Product teams.
• Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks, outages, and reliability risks.
• Ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or other scripting and programming languages.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, system design, networking, distributed systems, and observability platforms.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision.
